In the app, go to Accounts and click “Connect bank.” You'll sign in to your bank through Plaid's secure window. FinLedgic never sees your banking password.
Automatically. As your bank reports new transactions to Plaid, they're pushed into FinLedgic. A nightly sync runs as a backup, and you can always click “Sync now.” Banks report to Plaid on their own schedule, so very recent transactions can take up to a day to appear.
Banks occasionally require you to sign in again (a password change, a fraud check, or a periodic consent renewal). Click “Reconnect” on that bank in the Accounts tab. It refreshes the connection in place and keeps all your history and categories.
When you categorize a transaction, FinLedgic remembers it and applies the same category to matching merchants in the future. Everything still lands in your review queue until you approve it.
Yes. Open Invoicing to create professional invoices and quotes, email them to customers with a secure link and PDF, record payments, and convert an accepted quote into an invoice.
On the Transactions tab, click “Import CSV” and map your columns. Imported rows are treated like any other transaction.
The Subscriptions tab scans your connected accounts for repeating charges and groups them into fixed amounts and variable amounts, so you can catch anything you forgot you were paying for.
Bank tokens are encrypted at rest, all traffic is encrypted in transit, and the bank connection is read-only. See our Security page for details.
You can cancel anytime from the billing page. Cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of your current period.
