Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of FinLedgic. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. The service
FinLedgic provides bank-connected bookkeeping and invoicing software. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Sign-up is gated by an invite code and intended for business use. You must provide accurate information and be authorized to connect any financial account you link.
3. Subscriptions & billing
FinLedgic is offered on a subscription basis after a free trial. Fees are billed in advance through Stripe and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current period.
4. Your data & responsibilities
You retain ownership of the data you enter and the financial data you import. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you. You are responsible for reviewing categorizations, reports, and invoices for accuracy before relying on them.
5. Not financial, tax, or legal advice
FinLedgic is a software tool, not an accountant, tax preparer, or advisor. Reports and figures are generated from the data available and may be incomplete or delayed. You are responsible for your own filings and financial decisions and should consult a qualified professional.
6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt to breach its security, access data that isn’t yours, or use it for unlawful purposes.
7. Third-party services
The service relies on third parties including Plaid (bank connectivity), Stripe (payments), and our hosting and email providers. Your use of those features is also subject to their terms.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinLedgic is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using FinLedgic at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
